Clinical Medicine (Program Code: 100201K)

The clinical medicine program relies on the disciplinary advantages of SUSTech's strong science and engineering and focuses on the concept of "New Medicine". It offers characteristic courses that integrate interdisciplinary topics with a mastery of the basic knowledge and operational skills of clinical medicine, and a humanistic and scientific research quality to examine diseases from a scientific perspective. Understand the pathogenesis, occurrence, and development of diseases, adapt to the international competitive environment, and one interdisciplinary knowledge to think about and solve medical problems.

Stomatology (Program Code: 100301K)

The specialty of oral medicine is a proposed new specialty in 2024. It aims to cultivate high-quality professionals with a solid theoretical foundation in oral medicine, special clinical skills, innovative research capabilities, and an international perspective. In order to meet the growing demand for oral medical services in society and promote the development and progress of the field of stomatology.    

Biomedical Science (Program Code: 100203K)

Biomedical science is a cutting-edge interdisciplinary subject that integrates the theories and methods of basic medical science, biology and life science. This major aims to equip students with the basic knowledge and skills for biomedical science research-related work. After graduation, they will have the basic competency and ability to work in the medical, scientific, technological, and public health sectors, and engage in cutting-edge scientific biomedical research talent in the medical field of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

After graduation: PhD program at Peking Union Medical College Hospital

Ranked top 1% with a 3.88/4.0 GPA, Awarded Medical Dean's Prize and National Scholarship. Published six research papers; IGEM International Silver Medalist. Made history as the sole undergraduate speaker at China's premier dermatology conference, presenting skin disease research.

After graduation: PhD program at Peking Union Medical College

First graduate of SUSTech School of Medicine's clinical medicine program. Winner of SUSTech Outstanding Student Scholarship for four consecutive years. Published six research papers; IGEM International Silver Medalist. First‑author review published in Trends in Immunology.
